J.J. Corry The Gael

Matured in sherry and bourbon casks from Jerez, Spain and Kentucky, USA, The Gael is a blend of Irish malt and grain whiskey with some of the oldest whiskeys from J.J Corry’s flavour library. Bottled in Co. Clare, at 46% abv, the whiskey is J.J Corry’s flagship blend.

The nose opens with ripe apples, white peaches and apricots, before notes of freshly cut lawns and flowers take over. On the palate, orange hard candy develops into candied orange peel, before giving way to cooked stone-fruit flavours: apricot frangipane tart and peach cobbler.
