Kavalan Solist Port Cask

This Taiwanese single malt whisky from the King Car Distillery, was released as part of Kavalan’s Solist collection. The single cask expression has been fully matured within a hand-selected Portuguese Port barrique in Taiwan’s unique subtropical climate. Presented at a cask strength of 58.6% abv, within just 194 individually numbered bottles drawn from each single cask. Free from chill filtration.

Expect a syrupy fruitiness on the nose, with a palate full of plum, blackberry and strawberry on a bed of intense chocolate flavour. Hints of elegant wood spices and roasted nuts develop into a wonderful, long lasting finish.
