Circumstance Organic Single Cask

Bristol’s Circumstance Distillery are proudly organic, sustainable and innovative. Driven above all by their ‘flavour first’ approach, they specialise in grain whisky, using multi-grain mash bills, brewer’s yeasts and epic open fermentations to build layers of flavour even before cask maturation.

We’re delighted to have an exclusive bottling from the distillery, made from a blend of 85% malted and 15% unmalted organic barley and aged in a single Andean virgin oak cask. It’s one of just 70 bottles, presented at 49.9% abv without artificial colour or chill filtration.

Lemon sponge cake, cocoa powder and pralines on the elegant nose, with dates, juicy orange, and dark chocolate layering the palate before a delicately spicy, oaky finish.
